I spoke with a [case manager]; and she got us on a conference call with the pharmacy … and also with my doctor’s office. She asked the correct questions and helped push these people to have a sense of urgency in my situation. She was very supportive and helpful. Thank you PAF.

I couldn’t get in to see a Gastrointestinal M.D. because they required a referral from a family physician. But, because of Covid-19, I couldn’t get an appointment for a family M.D. that accepted my insurance. At my wits end, I contacted the Patient Advocate Foundation. The Patient Advocate Foundation did everything for me. They got me setup with a G.I. doctor and with a family physician. They are incredible…
